I found it a total chore, as I said, I felt obligated to get the new Omnibus or else... I dunno, someone would take away my cred or something. Reading I found that I LOVED it and totally realized why. Firstly Kirby NEEDS colour, point blank, 'nuff said. Secondly and more importantly: Each of the 4th world titles has a totally unique feel and reads much better when broken up into publication order. The Sober urgency of Orion and the New Gods is MUCH easier to take when broken up by the gee-whiz pop-psychadellia of The Tomorrow People, the fun Adventuring of Mr. Miracle and the weird DC-in-Fun-house reflection of Jimmy Olsen.Ping33https://www.blogger.com/profile/09631445208675326795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6392471.post-2074759876947655142007-09-07T13:01:00.000-04:002007-09-07T13:01:00.000-04:00I'm going against my own preaching and reading Ext...I'm going against my own preaching and reading Exterminators by trade. But I'm still telling people to read it!

I haven't dug into any of the 4th World stuff just yet. On a side note, I have about 25 issues of Kamandi that I want to plug through. Especially to see if anything connects to Countdown.Peterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18303844041512373216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6392471.post-54718406730388181572007-09-07T09:13:00.000-04:002007-09-07T09:13:00.000-04:00AND EXTERMINATORS!!!!!(Pete: you reading the 4th w...AND EXTERMINATORS!!!!!

(Pete: you reading the 4th world omnibi?
