i had no idea about the crisis of the soul thing but its fascinating.
a few months back i heard about alan moore's twilight of the superheroes a proposal for a sequel of infinite crisis
you probably know about it but just in case, you can read about it here: http://www.hoboes.com/Comics/Twilight/
or read the whole proposal here http://www.geocities.com/soho/6612/twilight.htm
i thought this was a pretty interesting take on the whole idea of crossover events; it even seems to anticipate many of the flaws this company wide maneuvers have shown since then, at both sides of the street, particularly in the recent "major summer events"...
moore usually reads as a thoughtful and reflexive author and i see here more interest in the analysis of the publishing strategy (a very global view from tie-ins to merchandising) than the hero story itself

Most of my life revolves around theatre (especially musicals), comics, friends and podcasting. See that cool Elvis collar? That's me as Nightwing - my favorite character is Dick Grayson, my favorite company is DC, my favorite color is purple, I'm a Scorpio, Latino and love long walks on short sidewalks.
